Pros: It works

Cons: It does work and has worked for the past year and a half, but... After 2 rma's, every PSU, of this model, has the same problem. The default fan whines and if the back of your desktop is facing you, it is incredibly annoying. The only reason I am rating this 1 egg is because I've spent months in contact with Corsair support trying to resolve this issue. All they keep doing is sending me new units with the exact same problem even though I've explained that the only problem is the fan. I fix computers for a living and one of my clients had the same issue with a CX850. It was out of warranty and we manually installed a new fan which fixed the problem. I explained this to Corsair and I was ignored. So again, my low rating is based more on Corsairs poor support and they're inability to solve my issue.

Overall Review: Point the back of the PSU away from you and you should have no issues. I rearranged my home office to accommodate this and I hardly ever hear the fan whine anymore.

Pros: Can pause and play movies

Cons: Don't listen to anyone else on here, this remote is not compatible with vlc. In my experience, it was barely compatible with win7. After full installation of software, my computer was noticeably slower and a few things didn't work. The power button on the tower didn't work, the power button on the remote didn't work, the sleep function for the computer didn't work, and it would automatically reboot even if you did get it to shut down.

Overall Review: I run Windows 7 Pro with nothing fancy on the side. The computer I tested this on is about 6 years old, but in great shape. I watch all my 1080p movies on it including 3D. Once I uninstalled the software and removed the IR usb, it all went back to normal. Very disappointed.
