Seagate STBD4000400 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

1 out of 5 eggs Sneaky: 5,900 RPM, not 7,200. 10/05/2015

This review is from: Seagate STBD4000400 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Retail Kit

Pros: The product may be fine. See Cons for a comment about the listing.

Cons: 5,900 RPM, not 7,200.

Leaving out a specification when it isn't good is sneaky behavior. When there is something you can't trust, that makes it necessary to wonder if there are other dishonest activities.

Other Thoughts: Being sneaky is a form of dishonesty. Is Seagate badly managed?

ARRIS SurfBoard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

1 out of 5 eggs Old version 02/09/2015

This review is from: ARRIS SurfBoard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

Pros: None. Buy a later version.

Cons: The SB6121 is an outdated version. Research the SB6141 or SB6183. Some cable companies require the later versions. There may be bug fixes that are important to you in the later versions.

Esky 150 Miles HDTV 1080p Outdoor Digital Amplified Antenna - 360 Rotation UHF/VHF/FM
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: See cons.

Cons: The listing does not tell the size of the antenna.

Larger antennas collect more electromagnetic energy, and therefore provide a much greater signal.

It is necessary to know the size of an antenna to make a sensible decision about buying it.

A small antenna cannot possibly deliver a signal as well as a larger one. That's a law of Physics. If the antenna is "150 miles" away, it might need to be 10 or 15 feet wide.
