Silverstone SST-FF122 120mm Fan Filter with Magnet (Black)

5 out of 5 eggs Perfect 02/01/2014

This review is from: Silverstone SST-FF122 120mm Fan Filter with Magnet (Black)

Pros: Awesome little filter. I wanted positive air pressure inside my system to keep the dust out, and lucky I've got removable dust filters on all of the intakes, but I wanted the rear fan as an intake (which has no filter) so this thing just sticks right to the back. I don't even use the included screws, the magnets work just fine. The filter is very fine, but non restricting.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: do they make these in dual 240 size? That would be cool

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR

Pros: Works exactly as it should, never had any issues and I've bought many of these for multiple builds. It's cheap and fast. They even overclock fairly well. They also look great in your system

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Good ram. I've been buying GSkill memory ever since I bought these and I've yet to be disappointed

Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: It's compact, attractive , rotating hoses, works great in push/pull, and super cheap.

Cons: The only negative is that if you let the pump throttle (let the motherboard control the pump speed depending on the temps), the pump gets loud. But if you let it run at a constant 12volts, it's super quiet. Strange, but it was easy to set the pump to stay at 12volts with the motherboards fan controls.

Other Thoughts: You can't beat this deal. If you're looking for a low cost cooling solution that is quiet, and needs little to no maintenance, this is for you. It does just as good as some of the high end air coolers (in push/pull)
