Pros: Was one of the cheapest available FM1 boards available when I first bought it.
Cons: Two failures
Other Thoughts: The first one I received died in under a month, and I RMA'd it without any hassle. The second one arrived and worked well enough, but it bricked on me today after less than a year in service. Getting power from the PSU and the fan spins up for a few seconds, but never makes it to POST before shutting down, same as what happened with the first board.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Rock-solid performance without issue for more than a year of 8+ hour-a-day use.
Cons: Fairly large for a USB WiFi adapter.
Other Thoughts: This was the cheapest option available for adding WiFi connectivity to my desktop when I bought it over a year ago. I have been using it non-stop ever since, and it has performed flawlessly for me. It's much larger than the newer products on the market, but that doesn't really matter for me as I have plenty of clearance behind my desktop machine.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: PC CHIPS P53G LGA 775 VIA P4M900CD Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: It's dirt cheap, and it's great for a low to mid-range system. Documentation is good, and it comes with drive cables.
Cons: Only one IDE interface, which doesn't seem to recognize ATA hard drives. If you are building a really cheap box for yourself or a friend, you are going to have to get a SATA hard disk to use this board. I'm using it to replace the junky mobo from an eMachines system I have, and I didn't realize I was going to have to buy a new HDD too. Oops :^)
Other Thoughts: Shipment was lightning fast. Purchased late on a Sunday night, and had it in-hand early on Tuesday. Packaging was very secure as well.READ FULL REVIEW
