Pros: Without thorough testing its hard to say, but this PSU seems to be wee built and reliable.
Fit and finish was to standard expected of a good quality PSU.
Other Thoughts: Again, I'm not taxing this supply or have I done any testing, but it has been a reliable supply so far with no issues.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: When it works, it is a decent/ good card for the money (that I paid at least). Fan is like a snowblower past 75%, but not bad otherwise.
Cons: This card has been an issue since day one. I have been chasing an instability in a new build for a month and finally pinned down that it was a driver issue (hopefully) for this GPU. I had to manually install a driver component to system32 to get it to work without sporadic BSOD. The included driver install as well as the latest update install was giving a BSOD related to atikmdag.sys file (google it if your interested) and manually correcting this was the only fix.
Other Thoughts: A repeatedly broken install on a rather mundane build is, to my mind, unacceptable. The ATI installer and software is simply broken, and there seems to be no effort to correct it. FYI, I'm no fan-boy and I buy what I think is the best product for what I need at the lowest price. This one. however, was a mistake.
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
G-SKILL sniper 4x2
Pros: Running good so far.
Cons: Not full ATX form, which is just annoying. board flexes on the right pretty easily. Bios isn't the best, either.
--Not sure what the cause was, but windows 8.1 was unstable on this system. Finally found it was random driver hangups. Disabled windows rapid-boot and it resolved everything.
Everything else is installed, configured, and set up as well as it can be, so if you have reliability issues, check this out before RMA. Boots in about 15 seconds now to desktop instead of 11 seconds. Oh no!
