Excellent Mousepad

DOLICA Midnight Edge Series ME-100 Mouse Pad
DOLICA Midnight Edge Series ME-100 Mouse Pad

Pros: Glides smoothly with my Razer Salmosa Grips solidly to my desk Ships flat, unlike competing products -Cough cough-

Cons: Not a one

Overall Review: If you're a gamer who doesn't game at low sensitivity requiring a 2 foot mousepad, get this. You won't regret it, especially not for the price!

Most Critical Review

Good while it worked...denied RMA by avermedia

AVERMEDIA C281 Game Capture HD Record Xbox 360 & PS3 in Real Time with up to 1080p resolution
AVERMEDIA C281 Game Capture HD Record Xbox 360 & PS3 in Real Time with up to 1080p resolution

Pros: Worked well before it had issues

Cons: It seems like there is a wire lead or solder point loose within the box, because my red component signal flickers in and out. I can shake the box and sometimes that will sort of fix it, but sometimes not. When I shake it I can hear something rattling around inside.

Overall Review: I submitted an RMA request through avermedia and they told me to update my firmware (which I knew wouldn't work) and contact the store I got it at for any further support or replacement. Well its long outside the 30 day newegg return policy so since avermedia denied my RMA request I now have a $140 paperweight. I would avoid buying avermedia products ever again based on this.

Squish your high end gear into a near micro-atx case!

LIAN LI PC-A05FNB Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-A05FNB Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Short - Light - Still manages to fit a full ATX motherboard and GPU inside - Brushed aluminum is nice looking

Cons: - As others have said, case sides are a bit flimsy - PSU is a tight fit

Overall Review: I had an old Coolermaster behemoth but moved all of my 3.5" data drives into a NAS at the end of last year. Wanting to free the rest of my components from the cruft of dead weight, I looked for something smaller that could still hold my ATX motherboard. Alright so this was about the only solution, but its a nice one! My system now weights less than half of what it used to and is actually LAN-party-able if need be.

Great monitor (after calibration)

BenQ 24" LCD Monitor 4ms (GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI GW2450
BenQ 24" LCD Monitor 4ms (GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI GW2450

Pros: - Great picture after calibration - Excellent response time/low input lag in games - Display isn't actually glossy, appears to be matte with mild anti-glare coating - Stand is solid - Much thinner than my old monitor

Cons: - Factory calibration was pretty terrible. Brightness and contrast needed to go way down to prevent washed out look. The monitor also had a very noticeable red tint in normal color mode, so I set this to user mode and adjusted accordingly.

Overall Review: I was able to get a good picture after playing around, but someone less technical looking for the best "out of box" picture will want to look elsewhere. I docked an egg for this. I do want to highlight that the response time and input lag are quite amazing for a non-TN panel monitor though.

Solid midrange card

EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card 01G-P4-3650-KR
EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card 01G-P4-3650-KR

Pros: Small, quiet, extremely low power consumption

Cons: Obviously you're not getting top of the line performance, but I knew that going in

Overall Review: Bought this as a replacement for my HD4870 since I'm not the biggest gamer anymore. Low power consumption and Linux support were the big priories and this fit the bill perfectly while still outperforming my old card. Power consumption wise, it cut 30-40W off idle power usage!

Great keyboard

Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: As others have said this keyboard is rated highly for a reason: - Relatively quiet keys - Good key response - Very nice backlighting - Macro keys - Reasonable price compared to some other brands

Cons: The wrist support bar isn't removable. I have long fingers so it doesn't help me any, though not a huge issue.

Overall Review: If it's on sale you shouldn't even hesitate to buy.
