This review is from: Logitech Z623 200 W 2.1 Speaker System, THX-Certified
Pros: At first I thought wow , for computer speakers these ain't bad (except for the world's cheapest power switch). That thought was short lived.
Cons: All of the components used in these speakers are cheap.
These speakers worked for about two weeks and issues started to show. The power switch was getting worse, static caused from vibration of the switch was broadcasted.
Loud popping when any word with the letter "p" in it and extreme distortion with the bass at certain pitches. Then the bass speaker started a loud humming noise.
Other Thoughts: In the past I've purchased many Logitech products (including speakers) with no complaints. Doing a RMA for these is pointless, crud is crud. You couldn't give me a set of these speakers unless I needed some magnets.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-S2PT LGA 775 Intel G41 + ICH7 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: I was able to use some high end/old tech parts I had to build the Grandsons a nice little computer.
Cons: Price and the driver disk has a lot of trash on it.
Other Thoughts: The ram I installed was a Crucial 2x4 kit.
2-4GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) UDIMM240-PIN
(CT2KIT51264BA160B) and worked like a charm. I had to buy a case (Fractal core 1100) and a cpu cooler. I bumped the Q6600 to 3.3 with no issues. The cpu, 550ti and ram work well together The boys are happy and my wallet isn't bleeding.
