Pros: Lucky enough to get one just before Newegg discontinued. Seems hefty and with that, quality parts used.
Cons: Hefty paperweight. DOA and didn't check right away as I am military and had other obligations that consumed my free time. Bought 10/14/2012 with Newegg's 1 yr Recertified Replacement Plan. As you can see in the description, it comes with a 90 days Limited Warranty. 90 days parts, 90 days labor. This drive when I installed it on 12/1/2012 is clicking. Not recognized in BIOS. Contacted Newegg and was told their 30 day return period passed (fine, it did). Naturally went onto Western Digital's "Warranty Check for End User" and searched by serial number. Was shocked to see 11/26/2012 as the expiration date. Now I have to plead my case to either Newegg or WD. I don't have time for silly runaround, but hope someone can resolve this glaringly inconvenient issue and hopefully not at my expense (but we all know how that goes). As I write this, it's 12/2/2012, only 49 days of a 90 day Lim Warr. Not happy.
Other Thoughts: Go try some Gouda cheese, that stuff is wonderful.READ FULL REVIEW
