Third Time's the Charm

Pros: Very high resolution Colors look great Amazing viewing angle
Cons: I hard to get two replacements before I got one that didn't have dust particles in the panel. There was dust of some sort inside, beneath the screen, causing darkened areas. It seems the quality control on these monitors is pretty bad if they let that get through *twice*.
Overall Review: Dell's customer support was really good and they quickly sent me the replacement both times and I was allowed to keep the bad monitor until the replacement arrived. While it was a hassle to get a good monitor, it's certainly worth it once you do. I love the resolution, and I could never imaging having to go back to 1920x1080!
Still no problems after three years

Pros: This hard drive has been great for over three years and I've had no problems with it at all.
Cons: None at all.
Overall Review: I had no problems whatsoever, but since I've had it for a long time and all hard drives die after several years, I wanted to stay on the safe side with my data so I finally replaced this recently because I wanted more space and I needed new identical drives for a RAID setup.
Decent short-term speakers for a good price

Pros: Very cheap, looks great, and decent sound quality for its price at sane volumes
Cons: You can't crank these up to an insane volume like you can with more expensive speakers, but they're plenty loud for any sane use, and still sounds fine above that. The cables are kind of a mess, as there's a lot of wires that are all routed through the control dial that's supposed to lay on your desk. Since there's so many wires, it becomes hard for the light little volume control wheel to stay on the desk. After a year or two of use the volume control wheel's potentiometer got a loose connection so there's lots of crackling while adjusting it. Additionally the left and right speakers loose connection while being adjusted and the wheel needs to be leveled in order to get both speakers working. The satellite speakers also blew out after a year or two of use and they sound really crackley and bad now.
Overall Review: For thirty bucks, these speakers were worth the purchase, even though they blew out after a year. Buying these every year or two is still cheaper than purchasing an expensive set of "professional" speakers. The sound quality was decent, although I am not an audiophile.
Wonderful Monitor!

Pros: The P2250 looks great, and is a great improvement on my old, 17" display. The design is elegant and fancy, while the whole thing is under $200.00 including shipping. I just got it today, and already love it! I would recommend this display to anyone looking for a new monitor with a budget of under 500 dollars. I really like the wide screen, because now I can open 31 windows on the taskbar in Windows XP. This thing is virtually plug-and-play and I really enjoy it.
Cons: • A very very small annoyance is that the red power button is always on and will once and a while steal my attention. • The base is a little bit wobbly. What this actually means in more detail is that when you try to plug the stand into the monitor, the plug doesn't look like it will hold the screen's weight. You must hold it up then gently turn the monitor upward to work. If you have a secure desk and the thing is completely assembled, it isn't even noticeable. • The instructions for assymboly are very unclear and are mearly written on a confusing piece of paper with only pictures. There is no written instructions anywhere, and this confused my for a while. • The edge of the screen is reflective, so you are getting an inversed copy of about the last 10 pixels. A tiny bit annoying but only slightly. It's hard to notice and doesn't really matter.
Overall Review: In a response to the user pturula's comment referring to how the label for the OSD buttons aren't lit up: You can click Menu > Setup & Reset > LED On/Off and turn it to on. This will make the menu buttons all ways lit up. Other thoughts: I haven't yet tried gaming, though I imagine it will look great. I also think that the whole display is rather short (height wise), that is, in comparison to the whole monitor. I think that I will probably also be able to use this as a good Home Theater PC (HTPC) if I can find some good free software. To clear things up, the brightness is perfect. I still do not know if it uses LED backlights or not, though I believe it does. It is perfectly bright, and others say that they even turned theirs down - I will keep it as is. I am using the factory settings, and I think they are great. I highly recommend this screen to anyone, and would like to get an other if I had the space!
