StarTech GCTOSMINIFM Toslink to Mini Toslink Plug Adapter - F/M
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: -Works

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: The description is wrong, this adapter is actually the standard 3.5mm toslink. not 2.5mm. So if you have an older soundblaster card or another brand that has 3.5mm toslink, this will work. Now I can enjoy dolby digital live encoding as well as DTS connect on my HTPC setup.

Rosewill RFA-120-K - 120mm Computer Case Cooling Fan with LP4 Adapter - Sleeve Bearing, Silent
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: -Moves good air for the price
-Very Cheap

Cons: -Very noisy

Other Thoughts: So I bought two of these to throw in a rosewill challenger case for the side panel. The case has 3 pre-installed 120mm fans, but I wanted a little extra blowing on my GTX 480. Wow where to start. I highly doubt I received two defective products because I alternated them out to check DB levels and even using a fan controller these things sound like a whining turbine. ONE of these passes THREE of the stock 120mm rosewill case fans in noise. How pathetic is that. So if you don't care about noise, best bang for your buck at 2000 rpms. If noise is a concern, look elsewhere. I now have two of these sitting in my junk box. First time rosewill has disappointed me, but I'm leaving 3 eggs for overlooking the DB rating myself and the price.

Logitech MK550 2.4Ghz Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse Combo - Black

3 out of 5 eggs Decent but Over Priced 07/15/2012

This review is from: Logitech MK550 2.4Ghz Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse Combo - Black

Pros: -Wireless
-Wave curse is great for palm rest
-Mouse range is close to 10 feet

Cons: Don't be deceived by 33ft range like me. The keybaord IR has direct line of sight to the transmitter on my front USB 2.0, craps out over 5ft. Not joking. Had to invest in a USB extention cable for the transmitter, but now it doesn't look clean with a cable laying across my living room to my coffee table for receiver (HTPC).

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend this for users for more than 5 feet from transmitter or it WILL lag. Consider bluetooth or just running a USB extention cable with a regular keyboard. I'm going to try blue tooth before giving up on wireless.
