Pros: Ordered one of these (t60 laptop, win7, power cord, battery, and docking station). It was mailed out same day and arrived 2 days later, great job newegg. The computer was packaged well and looked like new. Had an issue (see below) and but newegg offered a RMA quickly and easily. These are the reasons why I use newegg.
Cons: The first computer was missing the battery and power cord, also the docking station was locked and did not have a key. The RMA was issued promptly and the computer was mailed back next business day from when I received it. It took the return trip via slow boat around the world (both ways) and I got a replacement computer (complete replacement) about a month after the original order. This replacement was missing the power cord and the key to the docking station was not the correct key. Luckily this was not locked. the keyboard appeared new but has a little play/bounce in one corner but this was minor. Anyway, the vendor that supplied the product was contacted via newegg. It’s been well over a week and there is no indication that anything will be done. Newegg did open an investigation but I’m still stuck with a useless laptop with no power supply.
Other Thoughts: The length of time for the return of a defective product is unreasonable. The attempts by the costumer service rep to correct the missing parts was prompt and quite good. Just appears to be a bad batch for the quality control folks. I have faith the situation will be resolved in time.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan
Pros: very quite fans, lots of room for expansion. overall great case teh 10 inch fan is fantastic at keeping the inside of the case cool so teh rest of the fans work easier and the compents stay very cool.
Cons: there are 2 bays for holding internal hard drives, one by teh power supply, the other in front of the case at the bottom. the first if far away and limits cable positions. the later has a fan attached to it and takes up 3 external bays. it requires the removal of the video card and power connection from the mother board to remove the hard drives from it. (so neiother location is good) If this was fixed it would be an ideal case. I ended up mounting my hard drive in an exteanl 5.25 inch bay with a mounting kit and left the screen on the outside. The doors on the front won't stay open and snag the DVD drive bay when it closes but are useful to ensuring air flow to the inlet fans that take air from the front.
Other Thoughts: overall it's a great case, glad I got it. the doors might have to come off. the sidepanel with the 10 inch fan is a door but there is no hinge per se, it just comes off. that's a pro or a con depending on what you are doing.READ FULL REVIEW
