This review is from: SYBA USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Type-C Dock for 3.5" or 2.5" SATA III Hard Disk / SSD
Pros: Great case and great layout. Good switch and LED. OK wires.
Cons: Treacherous junk!!! One minute it works at full speed (rarely), the next time it's half speed, but most of the time it's NO speed at all! Corrupted two of my hard drives already! It just won't die in smoke, instead it pretends to be working, giving you false hope, then stabs you mercilessly in the back with disk corruption! The outrageous thing is, I only used it a few times, basically tested to make sure it works during return period. Now it's showing it's real face! STAY AWAY!!!
Other Thoughts: Looking at other reviews, it seems I'm not alone and Syba shamelessly sells products that only pretend to work. Very upset about the data corruption! Tried different hard drives and computers. Their own software won't recognize this dock!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: -- Low latency gives plenty of room to overclock
-- 1.5V (Devil's Canyon will love you for it!)
-- Red )))
-- Cheaper than 1866 Zs I've been staking out
-- I made these push 2133MHz @ 10-11-11-24 1T 1.5V
Cons: They still boot under settings they can't run on, throwing you curve balls during testing, yet not crashing the system. Don't get me wrong, I like that it doesn't crash my system, but I'd like a bit more clear signs. I still don't know what the limits are for this super awesome memory! I simply settled with what I felt good with, which also ran stable.
Other Thoughts: I still can't believe it runs this fast under 1.5V and 1T! In the latest AIDA64 Read is 31K, Write 33K, Copy 32K. Latency 51ns. It stays cool, just don't mess with the timings beyond the first 5 parameters. Make sure you have a good board & processor (Intel). AMD, take a hike, Intel rules! Yours truly, AMD fanboy ))) Love my 290X though. I still don't like Intel, yet love my i5, but having the same RAM run MUCH slower on AMD setup is SUPER LAME!!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD GIFT Dirt Rally
Pros: 1) Free
2) OK graphics
3) Didn't pay for it
Cons: 1) Graphics are worse than Dirt 3. Super lame!!! I would be VERY upset if I paid money for this cheap knockoff of a game!
2) Difficulty setting is gone. ??? What is up with that?!
3) Completely different feel. If I wanted something different, I'd get a game from different series! GIVE US BACK the Dirt experience!!! We didn't ask for a sim, we wanted another Dirt game.
4) Unplayable on keyboard! ??? Seriously?! I play all of my games on keyboard, including Dirt series. This one seems to be made specifically for a steering wheel setup. Well, include one then!
5) It's 20GB and looks worse than 14GB Dirt 3. That is some super lazy coding!
Other Thoughts: To redeem the code, be ready to jump through some hoops, singing happy AMD chants. AMD wants your cell number nowadays. Whatever for?! Would you like my SSN as well, just to play a game?! if you don't provide a cell number (a home phone is a no go), then they freeze your account for 24 hours for "activation" (all this for ether an already existing account or a new account) WHAT?! I just want my free game!!! Once they finally let your in, then the redemption process doesn't work. For days on step six it kept giving me plain text page with no way to proceed. It only took a few days to get my free game that I can't play now. Thanks to AMD and game developers! ((( Back to Dirt 3 with my new card and now super awesome graphics all maxed out. Wish I got a game that I could actually play with my new card... Had no problems redeeming yet another code with Steam. How many codes does it take to get one game?! )))
P.S. BTW, Dirt Rally was maxed out on graphics as well, yet it looked worse than Dirt 3.
