This review is from: Enermax ELC-LMR240-BS Liqmax II 240 / ELC-LMR240-BS / Liquid CPU Cooler 25mm Fan
Pros: I got it for a great deal $45. I still have to send in the rebate though.
Keep core i7 CPU at 30 C idle, at 45 C gaming, and less than 55 C when CPU is stressed.
If installed correctly it will be very quiet. I do not notice it, even though the case is literally located less than a feet from my right ear.
I would recommend it to a friend and would get it again for a second build if I do one.
Other Thoughts: This is not a big deal: But the pipes are attached to the CPU block at an awkward spot. Look at the product's picture above. You will see the pipes connect to the block from the right side. And because the pipes are a bit too big, they block the left most ram slot. If you are using all ram slots, like I did, you wont be able to fit the block horizontally, so the brand name on the cpu block will read vertically.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fantastic case overall:
Easy build process.
Plenty of air into the main chamber.
Can easily fit a 240mm water cooler.
The plastic window on this case is scratch resistant, which is awesome. This was a major turnoff for other cases.
Other Thoughts: This houses:
Enermax Liqmax 240mm liquid cooler.
EVGA GTX 970 SC
Gigabyte atx motherboard.
Corsair CX power supply.
I like perfect size cases. Not too big and not too small. This one houses all my stuff comfortably without being a huge full atx case.
Build process was easy enough.
This review is from: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2015 - 3 PCs
Pros: Seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. I got it for free (still waiting on rebate though, I sent it on time and followed instructions carefully).
I had previous experience with Kaspersky. One of the companies I used to work for bought a license and installed the software on all company's machines. It was pretty decent back then.
I am using it now for two laptops and one desktop in my home. Very light weight on the computers and does what it is supposed to.
** does its job silently: No pop ups or balloon notifications unless something really serious going on.
Other Thoughts: You can probably use one those free antivirus software from Avast, AVG, or others. But even the free versions keeps nagging on you to buy a full version. Avast for example would sometimes interrupt me while I am playing for that purpose.
truth be told: in ideal world we should not pay for antivirus. The operating system should be able to defend itself. Microsoft has this free antivirus for windows, but it is not very decent. It failed many third party tests.
Anyways, Kaspersky is one of the best on market and it is very silent software. No pop ups or balloon notifications unless something really serious going on.
