TRENDnet 650AP
Pros: Good solid WAP. Easy setup if you understand the basics of wireless networking. Easy config even though many said it was not. I have a solid signal some 80 ft and up one level in the house. My first TRENDnet product. If you complain about this then don't do Linksys or Cisco SMB products. Took less than 10 minutes to install and configure.
Cons: None really. Instructions are typical for these lower prices products so use Google for help. We are using it as a WAP only.
Overall Review: What can I say about Newegg? Good selection, great prices and excellent fulfillment. Rarely find items at less cost. Sure hard to beat their shipping system. From order to shipped is typically a day.
IOGEAR 3-Port HDMI Switch
Pros: This switch solved our multiple HDMI devices right out of the box. It has never failed to switch over and the clarity passed through the switch is excellent. Our BD player and HD sat box can now feed into our Sony 50" without a hitch. This is a must buy if you TV only has one HDMI input.
Cons: just a slight pause when switching devices then again it is quick but in this high tech world we measure in milliseconds.
Extreme III
Pros: Great Price and they are FAST. I carry two of them for my Nikon D70s. Shooting in the RAW mode eats storage. Replaced a micro-drive with these cards and I am happy! We have made Newegg.com our main vendor for our tech needs.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Tried Ultra II's which were approved for my camera but they were too slow and could not do rapid fire shots. Micro-drive was great until it crashed and took two days to recover some race photos. These cards are great!
Pros: Excellent! Easy install and works great. Just a slight pause at it picks up the signal from the Panasonic Blu-Ray player from the DirecTv HD box. We use IOGear products for our KVM switches and we trust the brand
Cons: None.
Overall Review: NewEgg is the best! Fast shipping and good solid product lines.
Pros: A little touchy on the setup but what isn't. It is more of an understanding what the instrucitons are telling you to do. If you can;t find help on Google you should not have a computer let alone a network. Works great through out our 4,000 sq ft house. By far cheaper than cabling at $150 per drop.
Cons: Like all Linksys products post Cisco the instructions and the support can be confusing. Like i said, if you can't find the support on google you shouldn't be using a computer.
Overall Review: We have 4 of them now for nearly 6 months running across both phases of our electrical circuit. Some older homes may have problems.
