ePOWER EP-450CD 450W ATX12V / EPS12V Modular Juice Box- Dedicated Graphic Card and CPU power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: -Modular cables
-Fits in a 5.25" bay
-Cables appear to be braided steel covered in rubber

Cons: -The fan is pretty small and this PSU can get hot if your graphics cards are maxing out
-Hardly ever in stock

Other Thoughts: Whoever makes these should realize that the demand is pretty high. I was lucky to stumble across this at a time when they were in stock. I know these are intended for people who want to run SLI without buying a $100 PSU but I bought this mostly for the novelty. A secondary PSU really is just an awesome piece of hardware to have anyway.

Pros: Plenty of power
Hybrid Modular isn't quite modular but still nice

Cons: It didn't even last 1 and a half years

Orange Replacement Xbox 360 Controller Shell + Buttons

4 out of 5 eggs Good enough. 06/25/2014

This review is from: Orange Replacement Xbox 360 Controller Shell + Buttons

Pros: The shell and buttons all fit well enough. Also, it's super cheap. The orange looks pretty awesome.

Cons: The fit isn't exactly right. It's got a few tiny gaps that you'll probably forget about after a day. (Nothing that anyone but you, the person who puts this thing together, would even notice)
The sync button doesn't stay in very well which makes reassembly take a bit longer. It stays fine after you get it together.
Most original controller parts won't fit with this shell because of tiny differences in sizing and whatnot, though you can definitely use whatever triggers, ABXY buttons, Home button, analog sticks, and D-pad you want. The bumpers from an original controller don't fit, unfortunately, and neither does the trim piece on the bottom or the start/back buttons. I had hoped to mix and match more parts but that didn't work out. The analog sticks that come with this don't grip extremely well. You might consider getting some more expensive ones or simply using the ones from your original controller.

Other Thoughts: The plastic ring that the home button sits in doesn't have the black part to keep it from shining into the other sections so the green light bleeds into more than 1/4 of the ring. I personally think this looks cool but it's a subjective thing. Also, the ring from a normal controller won't fit in the hole so if you're using this controller shell, you have to use its ring. It also uses its own screws, which have a pretty small Phillip's head.

I would recommend this for anyone who wants a decent controller shell and doesn't want to spend a ton of money.
