Pros: fast boot up speed, fast install of windows
Cons: after 7 days started seeing blue screen crashes.
Newegg has sent me 2 replacements - same for both of those.
Other Thoughts: after seeing the blue screens on the 2nd drive i thought it might be my config - I installed the drive in another machine i had, reinstalled windows - same thing - blue screens during the windows install this time around.
i have another OCZ 240 Vertex 3 (knock on wood!) with no problems - the 120s just don't seem to work
This review is from: Logitech X-540 5.1 Speakers
Pros: Good sound quality
Setup was very easy – match the colors – anyone could do it
Cons: If you only have a 2 channel sound card, by default the only way to get sound out of the rear and center speakers is to turn on “Matrix” mode. Not a fan.
Matrix mode pushes too much volume through the center speaker and not enough to the rears
Other Thoughts: Ideally, you need a 5.1 or better sound card to make this system work like it should
A workaround I found is to use a simple headphone splitter ($3 at your local shack which sells radios...) to split my 2 channel output into 2x 3.5 (1/8”) connections - 1 for front, one for rear. (green and black) This way I get 4, full volume speakers around my room (no center – but that’s ok) this result is much better for music
This review is from: Polk Audio Monitor60 Series II Floorstanding Loudspeaker (Black) Single
Pros: clear highs and mids
at the price can't be beat.
Cons: lacking low end
Other Thoughts: Overall decent sounding speakers – long and short is the sound is lacking low end… clear highs, mids, etc but I wouldn’t buy these just for listening… will be good in a surround sound setup with a separate Sub for low endREAD FULL REVIEW
