Pros: Great scrypt mining card- 470kh/s. Cooler works great, been mining litecoins 24/7 and never goes above 68 degrees. I have two 270x's (2nd one is Asus @ 398kh/s) in a HAF-X case and the temps are great.
Cons: None that I can think of
Other Thoughts: This is the first HIS card I've ever purchased and am very satisfied. I have an Asus 270x as well ans this one is almost 100kh/s faster. Been mining for over 2 weeks so far and it's very stable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Appearance- this case looks wonderful, especially in white
Installation- hard drives, bay devices and motherboard install easily
Air cooling- the 3 fans on the bottom really do a good job of venting all the hot air out
Cons: Poor design for liquid cooling- this case does support a 360 rad at the bottom, however space becomes extremely tight and it becomes impossible to with multiple video cards. My cooling loop cools my cpu and both 5970s but due to the size of these cards I can't fit the radiator inside the case. My loop also has two radiators and even if I could fit one inside there is no possible way to get both of them inside and there is no place to mount a radiator outside the case so I had to put both of them on stands on the floor.
Other Thoughts: This case looks stunning and if you are using air then it's perfect. This case is just terrible for water cooling. If it didn't look so great I would've given it 2 stars due to the poor water cooling support but if I was using air I would give it 5.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS Rampage III Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: You can tweak nearly every setting with ease
The ROG connect makes overclocking so easy
Very stable board
Other Thoughts: This board is so easy to overclock using the ROG Connect. I have it hooked up to my netbook and if my tweaks get me past the POST but not into the OS, I can just wait for the reboot to take me to the "Start Windows Normally" screen and change some settings from the netbook and see what happens. If I still can't get into the OS, I just repeat until I get the right voltages. No more going into the bios, changing settings rebooting, failing and repeating. Sure you're going to reboot, but not having to go into the bios makes life WAY easier.
I have 2 SSD's hooked up to the 6gbs SATA ports and used the Xtreme Speed HD settings and my SSD benchmarks increased significantly!! This truly is a wonderful board if you can afford it. It's a big improvement from the Rampage II Extreme.
