Pros: Great heat sinks, solid design and construction, and a very good service department. I heard a lot of rumors about not being able to contact them since its based out of China, not altogether true, if you contact their headquarters then yeah good luck, but if you actually look the service center is in California. I called and a tech answered in two rings, answered all my questions, no bull and no problems. This is the second card I have bought from this company and I am very impressed with the product they make. My other one is an old Nvidia 6500 1Gb made by sparkle and it will run dang near anything you throw at it and to top it off I have been running it in my workstation doing rendering and a little gaming for more than three years. It has outlasted all other cards of similar size that my friends use in theirs, even the other Nvidia based ones.
Bottom line, best graphics cards I have ever bought, PERIOD!
Cons: Size, I have a cooler master case and this thing used every spare millimeter, but more than worth the effort of install.
But the size is necessary for the massive twin cooling unit the thing uses, so it more than counters the negative, plus the thing sits in a rather awesome hard-case to protect the components when your doing maintenance or adjustments in the case.
Other Thoughts: I have tried several cards in the past, had issues such as durability and overall build quality with most.
Heck my buddy built a great system with a very nice evga card, only lasted two months of minor use when the card self destructed.
I have had this card for almost a full year of heavy use and gaming, not a single complaint.
I saw recently that newegg has listed these as discontinued, well they aren't. Sparkle still offers them and I have found them new at a dozen sources so I'm feeling a little bias here, probably other manufacturers feeling the pressure of someone finally offering a quality product.
Doesn't matter, its worth finding and using, a bonus is that if you register your product, you get a lifetime warranty, I even registered my old one.
