Great Product
Pros: Good deal for the cash ( promo for $299 at the time). Able to view cameras on cell and over the internet. Had it up and running in less than 10 min. iPhone app allows you to view 1-4 cameras at one time, 16 total can be assigned and the app is free.
Cons: Getting the plugin for internet explorer to install properly was a little tricky as I had to adjust some security settings within the browser. The app they recomended for my iphone (Asee+) is pretty generic and provides no instructions but was able to get it to work
Overall Review: Like with all these types of electronics you have to be at least a little tech savy. Read the manual and don't be afraid to poke around a little bit and you'll be fine. If you just wish to view the cameras on a monitor, the setup is very easy. Configuring the web stuff will be tricky for some but I've seen a lot worse.
Didn't work! twice!
Pros: Cheaper than a scan converter.
Cons: The first device didn't work so I thought maybe it was a bad apple so I had it replaced with a second one. That one didn't work either after testing it on two different laptops and desktop computer. The computers were about 2 years old. Tried two different televisions also. One a 3 year old plasma the other a 6 month old LCD. So about 17 bucks in UPS fees and a 9 dollar re-stocking fee, this lesson cost me about 26 bucks.
