Pros: Cheap, bought a set of these 2 yrs ago for my 2500k/Z68A GD55 build, bought another set 6 months later!!
Extremely fast memory for mid-range price(I bought mine on sale for like 49.99 for 2x4gb)
1.5 Voltage(runs fine at 1.488)
8 gb is plenty for todays applications and ganes but 16gb is good future-proofing!
Cons: None !!!!
I have been using this 1600mhz(no overclock)memory for almost 3 yrs and will probably always buy G-skill memory from now on.
Other Thoughts: Wait for these sets to go on sale, they do like every other month and they literally drop to $39.99-49.00.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fastest single gpu I have ever owned.
Cons: Price -this card is expensive
Hot- It runs hotter than any of the 600/700 series cards, around 81C on avg.
Doesn't out-perform my other rig with 2x EVGA 670 GTX's(FTW) sli.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this card to any gamer, but not at this price point(700$). If you are looking at buying 1 or 2 of these, definitely wait till the 880GTX comes out in 1 month, this card will drop in price dramatically!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G
Pros: I've always used Arctic Silver 5 for my 2500k/Hyper 212 Plus. I clean and re-apply new thermal paste every spring right before going into the summer. I've only used the carbon based type paste once(the tube that came with my Hyper 212 Plus) and that stuff was okay, but Arctic Silver 5 shaved 10C off my Cpu firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cons: None product works as intended. Only complaint I have is that their 's a 200 hr break in period with this paste vs. the MX4 and other carbon based pastes, which have literally no break in period.
Other Thoughts: I'll always use Arctic Silver 5 since it seems to halt the best results.READ FULL REVIEW
