Eggxactly as described!
Pros: - Easy installation, it is all plug and play. - Secure and stable connection anywhere in my house - Perfect for gamers living in apartments! - No need to run pesky cables - Spot on packaging by Netgear
Cons: - Upload speed is only slightly better than WiFi signal. - As others have mentioned a pass through would have been nice, but this is not worth docking an egg. All important electronics should be connected via a power strip.
Overall Review: I had this product running full speed in less than 10 minutes. Netgear has phenomenal packaging and included high quality cables and instruction booklets with detailed diagrams. We are using this product mainly with a PS3 which actually has a 100% WiFi connection and the download/upload speed is showing consistent numbers. We are no longer experiencing lag in multiplayer, either.
Great SSD for 9 months
Pros: This thing was smoking fast. I could boot windows in under 10 seconds when I stock built the computer. This was 9 months ago!
Cons: These drives have a problem with dying about 8 months in. I started getting constant BSOD and thought it was my power supply so I spent $90 buying a new one for no reason. I didn't realize what the problem was until I installed Win7 on my storage drive.
Overall Review: Spend more. Don't cheap out on this component. They are getting old enough that you know which are good and which aren't. I rushed my purchase and am now in the process of returning it - hopefully. If Crucial contacts me in a timely matter and helps resolve this issue I will change this to a 5 star rating because the drive was great when it worked.
Great product, much better than standing around with jumper cables.
Pros: I've had to use this device multiple times. It has worked flawlessly. I loaned it to a co-worker who was too cheap to go buy a new battery and he ended up hooking it to the battery backwards and blowing the fuse. The company replaced the unit and I simply paid to ship the defective unit. Awesome customer service.
Cons: No cons. It comes with a ton of adapters that I'll never use and honestly I would've liked a better carrying case over all that junk, but I'm sure some folks can find a use for these adapters!
Great board for a budget
Pros: I bought this board at a BBS due to my Gigabyte board being a DOA which was easily returned to Newegg. This is the ONLY LGA1150 board that the BBS had in stock (why?) and it was $50 when I bought it on 08/2014. It has been a trooper. It is much better then the Gigabyte it replaced and the Gigabyte I upgraded from. The USB ports on my previous Gigabyte board would constantly fade out causing my mouse to stop working in the middle of gaming. I thought it was my mouse, but now I know it was my crummy board. I am super happy with my computer (it is tiny, but packs a punch) and haven't had any issues. If you are on a budget build you can get a decent rig built for under $550 which was my initial budget.
Cons: I got what I paid for. I wish it had a USB3.0 front header connection, though.
Pros: Huge case. Plenty of expansion for whatever you would need to do. Amazing amount of USB ports on the front. All of the cables are labeled well and the case has a GREAT built in cable management system. Highly recommended if you want a water cooled solution or are planning on an SLi configuration.
Cons: I had higher expectations. The case panel screws looked used and cheap. Not that anyone is looking at the back of the computer, it just felt cheap compared to the price of the case.
Overall Review: Honestly, had I known how big this case actually was I likely would've chosen a different Rosewill case. This thing is HUGE. I prefer the Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini as it is perfect for a single GPU / cheap gaming solution build.
Pros: Super happy with this processor. It is worth the extra $30 for the K.
Cons: No cons. Never been disappointed in a processor.
