NETGEAR A6200-100NAS AC1200 WiFi USB Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300 Mbps / 867 Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: It has excellent range and speed.

Cons: This adapter has a major compatibility issue with Windows 10, even with Netgear's latest drivers. The problem happens when your Windows 10 computer is either restarted or goes into sleep mode. Often after one of these events, the adapter will simply no longer be able to connect to your network. The only RELIABLE solution to this problem for most people is to shut down and turn the computer on again. Other suggested solutions such as disabling USB selective suspend (in power settings) and preventing Windows from turning off the device (in driver settings) do not work. In the worst cases, not even shutting down the computer will fix the issue, and instead you have to reinstall the drivers. Imagine having to do that several times each day. I had to. This issue was brought to Netgear's attention on the Netgear forum in 2015 shortly after the release of Windows 10. Now, at least 7 months later, Netgear still has not solved this issue. You can refer to the following threads on the Netgear forum for more information: "A6200 Disconnecting on Windows 10" https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Adapters/A6200-Disconnecting-on-Windows-10/td-p/981072 "A6210 randomly disconnects and i have to manually unplug it and plug it back in." https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Adapters/A6210-randomly-disconnects-and-i-have-to-manually-unplug-it-and/td-p/1077693 There are several other threads about the same issue. I returned this adapter to Newegg but I cannot recommend another WiFi adapter because I decided to use Ethernet instead.
