This review is from: Changhong 42" Class Ultra HD LED TV - UD42YC5500UA
Pros: Great TV when it works. All the marketing information on the Newegg website rings true when it works.
Cons: The screen flashes lines of color and strobes and then goes to a faint back-light but otherwise dark. Comes back on at various times and sometimes stays on the whole time or sometimes randomly fails.
The real problem is no customer service or technical support and seemingly no way to exercise the warranty.
Several emails, only the first was returned saying someone from California would contact me. No one did.
Several calls to Customer Service and to Technical support had full mailboxes. One time I did leave a message on technical support but no call back.
No way on the website to initiate a warranty RMA. Just call or email.
Other Thoughts: With the present level of support I would say that you should stay away from this company. I checked with several TV repair people and they said that there is no way for them to get parts for this TV and technical manuals are not available. Also if I could get support I would have to send it to California for about $75 shipping while the whole TV cost be about $250 after rebate.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It worked as expected and was a very good price. Probably half of what someone would normally pay. Very easy to set up after I solved the only one con. Great Technical Support
Cons: I bought two and the PCIe card was bad with one but I had very good support from Sans Digital and after some troubleshooting he suggested I try the second card and everything was simple after that. I didn't need the second card because the card was designed with two ports for the two units.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: P3 INTERNATIONAL P7880 LED Bug Trap
Pros: I hesitate to recommend wholeheartedly but it worked for me. I found no bugs in the screen but I put it on a piece of tile on my carpet next to my chair and have identified what looks like a few no-see-ums around the tile, but I can't be sure because they are so small.
I did not have a large problem before but it was a very annoying problem
Cons: none that I have found
Other Thoughts: I was bitten nightly by no-see-ums. Usually three bites at a time around my feet and ankles while I was watching TV at night or at my computer day or night. I seldom saw them. It was happening over a long period of time. It now does not happen. Maybe it was like putting Hurricane shutters up in Florida after three back to back hurricanes. We have not had a hurricane since, so they were worth the money.READ FULL REVIEW
