Pros: This cooler is every bit as good as my first 2 corsair h100i's I feel like it looks a little better, and runs just a tad bit more quiet than the h100i's. But I can't say that with 100% certainty as I don't have a proper comparison. It is much the same efficiency as the h100i, there is no real difference there, though this seems to be far less picky about what thermal paste you need to use for the best performance than the h100i was. All in all this is an unassuming water cooler that turns out to be as good or better than other things on the market today.
Cons: No corsair link... jk I have windows 8, thankfully they don't have a corsair link.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this if you are looking for affordable alternatives to what corsair has on offer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent cooling capability, relatively simple install, it's still not the easiest thing in the world, but CM did a great job minimizing how complicated it is to install some of these aftermarket air coolers, and it took maybe 3 minutes. It's not as tall as I thought it would be. Roughly same height as my gpu (evga gtx 970). Temps look good, and it fixed what I got it for (old water cooler pump kept failing under load and my cpu would end up crashing in the 90* c range). This hasn't let that happen so far.
Cons: It's really loud, if you are coming back from water, you'll hear it. especially under load, it sounds like I installed a jet engine into my case. That's really the only gripe I have with it, other than not looking as sleek or clean as a water cooler set up can.
Other Thoughts: Got it to replace a malfunctioning h100i and it does it's job, little bit loud, but great temps.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
Pros: I've owned 2 of these. The first one I had on a 3770k build I did and it was fantastic, I never had a problem. I also only used that pc for like 3 months before I sold it. The idle temps and the under load temps are generally fantastic. The noise isn't as quiet as I thought it would be, but it's still not that loud.
Cons: I bought a second h100i for the 4790k build I did and I've run into quite a few issues in the 5 months I've had this pc. Every once in a while when my cpu is under heavy load, it fails to cool anything down... and my pc just ends up freezing and crashing. And I know 3 other people with similar builds who are also having problems with their similarly aged h100i. As a corsair fanboy I hope it's just a bad batch of pumps or something. I took an egg off for poor quality control, and the 2nd one is because corsair link software is so deplorable with windows 8READ FULL REVIEW
