Cooler Master Hyper D92 - CPU Air Cooler with Dual 92mm Offset Push-Pull Fans and Accelerated Cooling System
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Excellent cooling capability, relatively simple install, it's still not the easiest thing in the world, but CM did a great job minimizing how complicated it is to install some of these aftermarket air coolers, and it took maybe 3 minutes. It's not as tall as I thought it would be. Roughly same height as my gpu (evga gtx 970). Temps look good, and it fixed what I got it for (old water cooler pump kept failing under load and my cpu would end up crashing in the 90* c range). This hasn't let that happen so far.

Cons: It's really loud, if you are coming back from water, you'll hear it. especially under load, it sounds like I installed a jet engine into my case. That's really the only gripe I have with it, other than not looking as sleek or clean as a water cooler set up can.

Other Thoughts: Got it to replace a malfunctioning h100i and it does it's job, little bit loud, but great temps.

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

3 out of 5 eggs Great for a little while 04/01/2015

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: I've owned 2 of these. The first one I had on a 3770k build I did and it was fantastic, I never had a problem. I also only used that pc for like 3 months before I sold it. The idle temps and the under load temps are generally fantastic. The noise isn't as quiet as I thought it would be, but it's still not that loud.

Cons: I bought a second h100i for the 4790k build I did and I've run into quite a few issues in the 5 months I've had this pc. Every once in a while when my cpu is under heavy load, it fails to cool anything down... and my pc just ends up freezing and crashing. And I know 3 other people with similar builds who are also having problems with their similarly aged h100i. As a corsair fanboy I hope it's just a bad batch of pumps or something. I took an egg off for poor quality control, and the 2nd one is because corsair link software is so deplorable with windows 8

ADATA Premier Pro SP900 ASP900S3-256GM-C 2.5

Pros: I own several ssd's from different manufacturers. I have adata, sandisk, samsung and corsair ssd's. I bought a 120gb version of this and some sandisks because they were cheap and on sale. Thinking I'd one day upgrade to the samsung 840 pro's. I'm glad I got this, it's faster than the 840's and I regret ever purchasing them. When I load games like cs:go I actually load in before the bots do in matchmaking. I raid 0'd several samsung 840 pro's for a customer and was not impressed with them, they offered inferior boot times and just overall slow operation speeds in comparison to this ssd. You can spend more and buy a samsung, intel or something else, or you can just save some money and get this guy and be set. The sandisk is a solid ssd, but quite slow and the corsair was garbage and I removed it and don't know where it went.

Cons: I can't think of anything... I've owned 1 of these ssd's for encroaching on 3 years now (daily use) and have yet to have it even hiccup. Hands down the best ssd out there.
