EVGA 06G-P4-4995-KR GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support SC+ w/ACX BP Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: - Runs nearly all games flawlessly at 1440p
- Temps are kept cool with the dual fans and backplate
- Build quality is great
- Great price considering the performance gains over the 980 and 970
- Performs as well as the Titan X
- EVGA perks

Cons: - Not as good price to performance ratio as the 970 (but that's not really the point of this card)

Other Thoughts: This monitor demands 1440p 144hz or a 4K monitor I made the step up from a GTX 680 and 1080p 60hz monitor to this video card paired with the new Acer 1440p 144hz G-SYNC monitor. Oh man what a treat. I've instantly become in love with gaming again.

Acer XB270HU bprz Black 27'' 144Hz WQHD G-SYNC Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS 350 cd/m2 1,000:1
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: - Colors are great and I am coming from probably the best 1080p 60hz IPS gaming monitor (Foris FS2333)
- Build quality is good
- Minimal backlight bleed
- G-SYNC, 1440p, 144hz all work flawlessly with no hassle

Cons: - One really small dead pixel in the bottom right
- One piece of dust in the top left which is never noticeable unless I'm on a pure white screen and actively try to look for it

Other Thoughts: I guess I got extremely lucky. I really don't have any complaints other than the small dead pixel and the small piece of dust. This is such a great step up from 1080p 60hz and probably from any combination of 1080p.

5 out of 5 eggs Great graphics card but slightly annoying registration 05/09/2012

This review is from: Galaxy 68NPH6DV5ZGX GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Performance is seriously outstanding. Temps are surprisingly really cool as well. Adaptive v-sync is an awesome feature

Cons: It's already been said before a million times but getting the card registered with Galaxy is a slight pain. I almost took off an egg for this

Other Thoughts: If you're just going to play Tribes and Diablo 3 all day, you definitely don't need this card. If you want to create a super computer, buy this card :P
