This review is from: Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 750W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible
Pros: I now own two of these. The first one I purchased a couple of years ago for an inexpensive i3 build with a single discreet video card, HDD, etc. The most recent one purchased is powering a new 4th Gen i5 Haswell with no problems. Includes all of the connections you would ever need.
Other Thoughts: Without being modular there are alot of extra wires stuffed into the bottom of the case but as I am not putting the PC on display it is not a concern. Note: Some may find this issue to be a CON but I knew what I was buying beforehand...an excellent power supply at a great price.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is my second build and second Biostar motherboard. Both have been painless. This board worked wonderfully right out of the box and has many features that the more expensive boards tout but at a better price. Fit nicely into the Rosewill Challenger Case with no issues.
My build specs:
-i5 - 4670k
-G Skill Ripjaws X series 8GB (2x4GB)
-Antec HCG-750 power supply
-Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX case
-Intel 335 series 240GB SSD
Cons: My previous Biostar motherboard came with the SATA ports facing directly towards you as you look at it. This board has the SATA ports facing out the side of the board directly towards the front of the case where the hard drive(s) go making it a challenge to make the connections blindly (which I think is a current trend with some other manufacturers boards as well). SATA Connectors with a 90 degree angle would be recommended for use with this board but only straight connectors were supplied.
Other Thoughts: With my only complaint being the direction that the SATA ports are facing I would still recommend this board. Admittedly, I knew the direction of the SATA ports before purchasing this board. For the money, I would buy it again if I need to build another PC in the near future. I have not attached a HDD or a discreet video card yet so I can't attest to the boards compatability with those items.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked out of the box with no problem with my Biostar TH67B mobo. (listed as compatible from Biostar)
I think these are easier to handle compared to some other models of ram because of the aesthetic enclosure (big red jaws)
Other Thoughts: Used these as stock. (No Overclock)READ FULL REVIEW
