This review is from: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
Pros: Not TOO big, but big enough for my build:
Cooler Master EVO 212, no worries
BACKSIDE panel comes off - if you need to get the the backside of the MB (ie. to update CPU cooler) is a major plus. Also allows cables to be routed thru the backside.
Fans are normal speed are whisper - I can't hear them from 4 feet away.
2 drive bays and one comes out. I took the drive bay OUT on top. While there was room for it, having the extra space is nice as b4 it's always a tight fit between the vid card and the drive bays. One drive bay has 3 slots, plus there is all the optical drive areas that you can mount more hardware.
Drive bays are tool-less - HD's just clip in no screws required. The slots also directly mount a SSD with small screws (provided)
Rubber ports in the back to push any wiring on the outside. I transfer large data by swapping HD's around. Now I can plug in without opening the case. But still opening the case is very easy, well designed, easy to take off, reinstall.
Cons: I'd like more USB ports on the front
Other Thoughts: I do a gaming build about every 2 years, been doing that since 1990. Every time I always fight my case. This time it has been such a great experience. I can't tell you how much I love this case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: win 7 pro - if you want to avoid the NIGHTMARE of win 8
Business class computer.
Separate key pad for numbers. (nice if you do a lot of number entry)
Cons: New type of power block. Have to use Lenovo power cord.
Fan sometimes comes on for no reason. Can be a little loud.
Other Thoughts: some people struggle with this mouse pad. It's easy if you read HOW to use it. two fingers is right click, you can pinch, as well as scroll. It's difficult but once you read how to use it is easy.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: BIG - I mean this thing is freeky Big. My first 27 for a monitor. Easy HDMI ports,
Cons: colors were a bit washed and too bright. but able to adjust with my controler card and adjustments on the monitor
speakers are small and not great sound - but they work and since I don't use sound all that much it is nice to get the speakers off my desk - (and less cords as sound is through the HDMI cable)
Other Thoughts: this thing goes on/off sale all the time wait until it is less than two hundred with free shippingREAD FULL REVIEW
