Pros: Accepts Haswell & refresh & some Broadwell cpus . Like the gold accents .
Other Thoughts: I just upgraded the cpu on it from an i5 4670K to a i7 4760K . Make sure you have the latest bios (A9 right now) before you upgrade . The A6 bios will not support the refresh (learned the hard way) . Tried the o/c feature in the bios on the i5 , it will overvolt your cpu . Don't use it .READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fits current motherboard , big upgrade from 4570k .
Cons: None , except for UPS "forgetting" to deliver it last week .
Other Thoughts: First off , make sure you have the latest bios installed . Don't believe anything otherwise Gigabyte stated F6 bios will work - wrong ! Would not post at all , no video , just beeps & reboots over again . Could not flash via usb either .had to reinstall i5 , flash bios to F9 & reinstall i7 . Booted fine then . Should of had it on Friday , but UPS forgot to load it on truck for final delivery . Not Newegg's fault .READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Has a fan ?
Cons: Allows cpu to get too hot . Loud fan on max .
Other Thoughts: Been in my system a month now . processor is running too warm for my taste . Before I reverted back to stock I had the cpu @ 3.4 ghz , it would hit 62C just watching a YouTube video . The old Corsair H50 that was in it cooled better ! After removing o/c & reapplying thermal paste it still gets too warm under load of a video . Be wary of this one . Oh , tech support is unresponsive about issue too .READ FULL REVIEW
