Pros: Durable drive after a year of constant use. Great multi tasking drive. I've asked a lot of it. (Other thoughts)
Other Thoughts: I have a Ceton TV tuner card in my PC. This is the drive designated as my recorded TV drive. It is constantly being recorded to & watched from while recordings are being converted from it to another drive. This hasbeing going on for close to a year now & this think has handled it like a champ.
The PC is never turned off as some things are recorded at night therefore this HDD is always in use.
This review is from: ASUS Google Nexus 7 Tablet 32GB - Brown
Pros: #1 No problems after a year of constant use.
#2 Don't have to talk to my wife anymore, she's on this thing all night.
#3 Integrates with PC's (Win 7) fluently. "Unlike You Know Who".
#4 Everything's FREE. Wife says she's only spent $5.00 on apps in a year while her friends (In the cult of App le ) are constantly having to Pay, Pay, Pay, & Convert, Convert, Convert.
#5 You can do a lot more than read books on it, & most books are free. I think she said she had to pay 1(ONE) penny for Game of Throwns.
Other Thoughts: Very useful & cost effective tablet that will not nickel & dime you to death in the long run. No matter what system you choose you will be trapped inside some companies world of products & apps that they want you to buy. At least in googles world most things cost a penny not a dollar.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Mine has been problem free! I thought it was easy to set up. If you're building your own rig, you have enough brains to attach this to your MB.
Currently I'm recording a tv show, watching a tv show & writing this review all while converting an hr. long video in the background & thermal radar on my MB shows the CPU @ 38 degrees.
Cons: It's cheaper now.
Other Thoughts: I have a Ceton TV tuner in my rig. Since the PC is always on so it can record things, the PC is never turned off. This unit has been Running continuously for a year now without a hitch. Cooling a AM3+ 8320 (125watt CPU) that's in constant use.
They sell buzzers that go in line between the MB 3 pin & a 3 pin fan. I recommend this for a little piece of mind. Pumps do go out & when the pump that cools your CPU finally does, You'll want to know.
