This review is from: Logitech 920-003038 Mini Controller for Google TV
Pros: Compact size vs. the keyboard. This is accomplished by using a lot of function/alt keys. Rechargeable battery keeps you from having to deal with finding fresh batteries. One full charge usually lasts us weeks. We use it every night. Nice back-lit keyboard allows you ti use it in dark settings. Flip cover keeps the keypad from getting dusty and dirty. Looks slick too.
Cons: The flip cover is difficult to open as there is no edge or lip to grab on to. Takes two hands. We went as far as sticking a piece of tape on the inside which hangs out so I can grab it and open it. Poor design of the lid.
Overall the device feels cheap & low quality. The back-light turns off much to quick and not sure if it can be adjusted. You either have to blindly hit a key in the dark to turn on the back-light or close and open the lid. The keypad feels cheap and flat much like a Droid 2 or 3 keyboard making it difficult to feel when you move from key to key.
The worst part of the device is the trackpad/Dpad which is alternated by a hard-switch. It works better as a trackpad but is not very accurate as a D-Pad. Sometimes you press down and it goes up etc.
One major annoying thing about it is the back button. The back button can only be pressed by holding the function key down. Terrible! Going "back" is so key on the Revue!! makes it a 2 hand operation every ti
Other Thoughts: Not really worth the price listed here. I picked up ours at Best Buy for $49.99. Still I dont even know if its worth that. I would check in to some other options if any exist or just use the keyboard.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GARMIN Forerunner 305 1.5" GPS-enabled Trainer for Runner
Pros: Amazing device for %50 off MSRP!! Thanks Newegg!! Being a beginning jogger, this makes progress tracking a breeze. The heart rate strap adds loads of data to your workout and keeps you on track. The strap is very comfortable and isn't noticeable when I'm wearing it. My experience with the strap is, strap it on and in a matter of seconds you have an accurate heart beat being logged to the watch.
Fast GPS acquisition time and even jogging under the forest canopies on trails here in Oregon, I never seem to drop under a +-20/feet tolerance on GPS location. It is very sensitive. It seems to drop a bread crumb every 1 second so when you upload your data, you have a very accurate track.
The Garmin training software that comes with it is awesome. Easy auto uploading, backup data, data comparison... this software should cost extra but you get it for free!
Easy docking module for charging via USB or AC.
Cons: A bit bulky on the wrist but not too bad. Maybe it's a PRO but the buttons are hard to press on the sides. They'll probably get worked in over time.
Other Thoughts: There is enough scalability on this device to satisfy beginning joggers like me all the way to hardcore runners. The data it collects is very useful for tracking progress. I highly recommend this device!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nearly weightless as far as laptops are concerned. I walk around my house with it holding it with my thumb and finger! XP Home. Runs fast.
Cons: Keyboard could be a bit small for big hands but... compared to some other netbooks it isn't that bad at all.
Touchpad buttons are on the side rather than above or below. As with any laptop these days, it comes with a bunch of crapware pre-installed that you'll want to remove.
Other Thoughts: I've tried a bunch; This is definitely the best netbook bang for the buckREAD FULL REVIEW
