This review is from: ENERMAX COENUS GUNMETAL GREY ECA3290A-G ATX MID TOWER COMPUTER CASE
Pros: -Looked great when it was new
-Room for several hard drives
-Has nice feet to sit off of low carpet (if you've got it)
-Cleanable dust filters
Cons: I am a pet owner, and when my PC was first built I had to keep it on the floor.. Long story short the dog decided to lift his leg on the case and now it has darkened in the area that was wet, making it really obvious what happened there.
-Dust filters on the bottom of the case are flimsy. Mine broke and I cant put them on anymore
-The front dust filter is held in by metal tabs (which you have to bend back to get the filter out) After some times these tabs will break
-Little room for top 120mm radiators. A Corsair H100i (45mm thick) will not fit with fans
-The side panel window is tinted dark. I didn't think that it would be that dark, but you can only see what's inside if you have led strips or something of the sort
-Front I/O is rather cheap (to be expected in this price range) Plugging in a USB cable will rattle your power buttons.
Other Thoughts: At first this case seemed pretty nice. When I first pulled it out of the box 2 years ago, I was surprised to see how clean it was. Now where I am with it (about to replace for more room) I realize that it can be noticeably damaged with ease. For example: one time I had a pocket knife open and accidentally hit the front of the case with it. Left a pretty big gash in it. This wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't black underneath.
Overall I'd say two things about this case 1. It's good for smaller more basic systems 2. It's probably best to be kept off of the floor.
Pros: It is a very sleek PSU, with its nice cords and its own overall look in a windowed case. It also works flawlessly for my current period of ownership (about 6 months).
Cons: Here is why I dislike this PSU, I first bought mine at Best Buy, and I exchanged it two days after installing it. Why? it makes a high pitched sound whenever you do simple things, like moving the mouse or typing (this sound is called Coil noise). I exchanged it just to get another PSU that also had Coil noise. I feel that if I submit a ticket to Corsair Force, I will just get another Coil noise making PSU. This sound is louder than all of my other 6 case fans when they are set to low. After about 10 minutes of this I become very annoyed. I am at sort of a loss here, my $100 has been spent, and I have a PSU making coil noise. At least it works though :]
Other Thoughts: I feel that this PSU would be perfect, if they could just make the Coil noise stop.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H80i High Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm
Cons: Where do I start? It is worse than the stock cooler. My AMD Athlon X4 II was at 80 degrees C at about 30% of its maximum utilization. the box cooler would of had it at 70 degrees C. The liquid bearing tubes would not carry liquid through them because of how severely I had to bend them just to have the Corsair logo straight. So, now just to make it work, I had to put it upside down. And the software is not the best either, it seems to only have been geared to the loop itself. it displayed my CPU temp at 3.0 degrees C, making the LED temperature sensor useless for actually telling temperature.
Other Thoughts: I do believe, however that the one simple fix to all of the problems above (talking about the loop itself) is just a little more thermal paste. I have bought more, and I hope for it to work better... UPSIDE DOWN.READ FULL REVIEW
