ASUS RT-N12/D1 Wireless-N300 3-in-1 Router/AP/Range Extender IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g/n

Pros: Over the years I have setup plenty of wireless routers and this by far was the easiest. ASUS has a built-in menu system that's not only easy to navigate and logical, you get through a simple setup in less than five minutes.

I bought this primarily because of price, but the guest network feature was a bonus. Whenever we have houseguests I like having a guest network feature as it shields my main network.

Cons: None so far

Nexus 6P 64GB Matte Gold LTE Unlocked Smartphone (North America Warranty)

5 out of 5 eggs Fast with Fingerprint recognition 08/19/2016

This review is from: Nexus 6P 64GB Matte Gold LTE Unlocked Smartphone (North America Warranty)

Pros: Compared to my old phone (BLU Studio 6), this Nexus 6P is a huge step up. A little more money than I wanted to spend, but has very fast speeds, and to unlock all I need to do is press my index finger at the back of the phone. I like the size of the phone and can read the display with ease. Battery life is good, it lasts all day on an overnight charge.

It has enough memory to store all your apps and files.

Cons: The charging cable is a Micro USB on both ends which means I had to buy a new cable to fit my charging equipment I have in my car, etc. This was easily remedied with a new cable, no big deal.

Other Thoughts: It would have been nice to have SD card storage, but I guess this is being phased out on new phones in lieu of cloud storage.

Pioneer SPSB23W/B Soundbar Speaker System w/ Wireless Subwoofer

5 out of 5 eggs Great Sound and High Quality 02/26/2015

This review is from: Pioneer SPSB23W/B Soundbar Speaker System w/ Wireless Subwoofer

Pros: 1. Crisp sharp sound with adequate bass
2. Solid wood housing - not plastic
3. Trainable remote so you don't have 10 remote controls to watch TV
4. Wireless bass you can put behind a chair or couch.
5. Good bluetooth range.
6. Great value at refurbished price.

Cons: Poor cord management. The way this soundbar mounts does not allow for hidden cord management. It would have been nice to have some recess to hide the excess power cord. I wrapped the excess cord around the soundbar to help hide it. Otherwise it works and sounds great.

Other Thoughts: I got this as a refurbished unit and it looks brand new. Prior problems with bluetooth connectivity have been worked out. My Pioneer soundbar connects well with the Ipad in its dock 35 feet away
