Pros: - Simple black & white theme
- Has everything you 'need'
- Click BIOS 4
Cons: - Should be priced under $100 before rebates
Other Thoughts: Took the gamble when I bought this combo with 4690k and I'm pleased. With all the bad comments about the DIMM slots, I decided to put just 1 stick on slot 2 and updated BIOS to the latest version (10.3), then installed Windows. After that I installed the second stick on slot 4, went to BIOS and loaded the 1866 profile, rebooted and went back to Windows. CPU is mildly overclocked at 4.2 as well.
FWIW, I have 2x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical memory (N82E16820148560), 1866, 1.5v, CL9.
Maybe I'm just lucky, but everything is working like it should. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away.
Pros: + Ultra Quiet
+ Seasonic based
+ Sleek design
+ Black cables
+ Excellent packaging
Cons: - Stiff and flimsy cables
- Cable length
Other Thoughts: This is a solid PSU so far although it was a hassle doing cable management, considering it is fully modular. Only time will tell if this unit will last (2-way CF, OC'ed FX-6300, 5 case fans, etc.). Jumped on a good deal on BF - otherwise at its current price point, I wouldn't even consider it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - Cheap (got 2 for under $10)
- White LEDs look cool
Cons: - Noisy
- Connectors are flimsy
Other Thoughts: So when I built my PC (includes an aftermarket CPU cooler, GPU with 2 fans, and 3 NZXT case fans) and first started using it, I thought it was pretty darn quiet. I didn't install the Rosewill fan at first because I had a hard time connecting it to the PSU. When I finally got it to work, my PC literally became twice as loud. I was actually going to add the second fan but I think I'm just gonna get more NZXT fans. The case is Source 210 Elite.READ FULL REVIEW
