Silicon Power 1TB Armor A80 Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0 Model SP010TBPHDA80S3B Blue
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Worked for about 12 months

Cons: Died about one year after purchasing. Precipitous decline in final days. Bad sectors, lost data, then just died. Can't access the drive at all. Working on getting a replacement now, but what a hassle to deal with the unexpected loss of this data so prematurely.

2 out of 5 eggs Fan dies after a year or so 04/09/2008

This review is from: BYTECC ME-835U2 (BLACK) Aluminum 3.5" Black IDE USB 2.0 Dual Fans HDD External Enclosure

Pros: Good unit while functional. Keeps drive nice and cool. Easy to install drive and use. No problems with usage.

Cons: Fan dies and makes loud noises. Very annoying noise that cycles every 30 minutes or so (20 minutes quiet, 10 minutes of loud dying fan, 20 mins quiet, etc.). I'm also annoyed that I have to buy another enclosure and that this fan is not user serviceable (I assume it isn't because another poster said it's not-I have not verified for myself).

KOSS SPARKPLUG 3.5mm Connector Canal Portable Stereophone

5 out of 5 eggs Love it 05/08/2007

This review is from: KOSS SPARKPLUG 3.5mm Connector Canal Portable Stereophone

Pros: Stays in ear if inserted as directed in instructions. Sounds great to me. I use it while running, and it serves that purpose well.

Cons: None so far. Snagged it out of my ear once while swatting at a bee and it still worked. Did that with Sony and the stupid thing would't work anymore. Never buy Sony!
