This review is from: SAMSUNG 840 Series MZ-7TD500BW 2.5" 500GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Installation in my late 2011 MBP 15" was a snap. Disc utility worked great cloning the software files to the SSD.
Boots micro seconds after hitting the power button. Very pleased with my purchase. I will gladly wait for the sale price again
Cons: SSD had an earlier firmware than the Samsung update - 12/2012. I had heard rumored that there was a newly released firmware updater tool for Mac OSX. Samsung hides the tool within the support area extremely well. Once you burn the tool program to DVD & boot the disc the rest is easy. For some reason the DVD-R discs didn't work properly for the tool, used DVD+R made a whole different world.
Other Thoughts: Apple disables Trim with 3rd party SSD's. A 3rd party Trim manager has to be uploaded to turn on & manage Trim. No big problem, just have to be aware of it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is my first Apple Mac Pro & wanted to increase the memory to 9GB from the existing installed 5MB. Kingston / New Egg was the way to go. Works great, price was right
Other Thoughts: I've used New Egg exclusively for my electronics / upgrades. Have been very pleased.READ FULL REVIEW

Cons: Wristband very large, needed to take to a jeweler for fitting. Very small price for the quality of the watchREAD FULL REVIEW
