Gets a 7.9 score in WEI, runs fine

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM

Pros: -Runs at the specified timings 8-8-8-24 -gets a 7.9 score in Windows Experience Index (I used to get a score of 7.6 when I had my 8GB Gskill 9-9-9-24 DDR3 1333 RAM before I got this one).

Cons: -The only issue I have with this is perhaps a bad stick out of the two, I had freeze-ups in windows 7 causing it to reboot. I never had this issue with the previous Skill sticks I have, and I will keep them around just in case I need to RMA. Right now I bumped up the RAM voltage from 1.5 to 1.65V and it is running fine so far without any BSOD, but if it happens again I may have to RMA them (I still have a week left to see if this new voltage fixes the issue).

Overall Review: My other set of Skill ran smoothly for the past few months, so I'm fairly sure that the issue I've been having recently may be one of the sticks not being able to run stable at 8-8-8-24 at 1.5V. I've upped the voltage to 1.65V and hopefully that solves the issue.

Most Critical Review

Not a very good speaker cable

C2G 40409 3.5mm M/F Stereo Audio Extension Cable, Black (25 feet, 7.62 Meters)
C2G 40409 3.5mm M/F Stereo Audio Extension Cable, Black (25 feet, 7.62 Meters)

Pros: -Long cable -Has a female end for additional length

Cons: -Does not work if you don't plug it in correctly

Overall Review: The cabling is done poorly, and for some reason the only way I can make sounds come out correctly is if I plug in the ends halfway into the ports, which sucks because I have to either tape it or hold it in since it'll pop out. I've tried other cables and other devices and they work fine, but with this wire it doesn't work properly.
