Very Quiet

GELID Solutions FN-SX12-10 Case cooler
GELID Solutions FN-SX12-10 Case cooler

Pros: Very Quiet Quality Fan Rubber mounts. When I first bought a few of these, I didn't think I was going to use the rubber mounts, but they work so well. I was able to squeeze these mounts into a case that had holes for a smaller fan and it worked out nice. I didn't have to drill holes and pop in self-tapping screws like I planned.

Cons: Doesn't make me breakfast.

Still Strong

RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Price Quality Quiet I have one of these 530W PSU's on a machine built for a family member and it's still working after 4 years. I just purchased another one for my own machine and everything is good. Modular is nice. The switch for turning the LED light off is good because frankly I don't care about that.

Cons: Doesn't make me breakfast.

First impression of Noctua

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler

Pros: Dropped idle temps 10c from AMD 1090T Stock Cooler that had arctic silver. Very Quiet Instructions / Installation were clear and easy to follow. Noctua didn't cheap out on thermal paste. As a cnc machinist I have an appreciation for the quality and attention to detail that went into this cooler. Well designed, solid locking pressure.. just everything down to the way it was packaged was done right.

Cons: 3 pin fans instead of 4. It came with about 3 different fan Y-splitters, but one adapter that I would have liked to have seen is a 4 pin PWM for motherboards that can regulate the fan speeds down. Not a big deal. These fans are still very quiet, I just don't see a need to run them 100% all the time.

Overall Review: First Noctua product i've purchased. I paid $50, but I would pay $65 after seeing/testing it.
