This review is from: Origin8 Rear Light Bar Bike Rear Safe Light Red LED Bike Safe Light Black
Pros: I think of this as just about the perfect rear bike light: it mounts on either saddle or seatpost, weighs effectively nothing, charges its internal battery from USB, lasts up to five hours on a charge, and is wonderfully bright even in the low-power modes. Six modes.
Cons: I'd prefer that the USB jack be micro rather than mini. Mini seems more standard for bike lights, but there seems to be no good reason for both standards to exist and cellphones are pretty universally micro.
Visibility from the sides could be better.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for $20 at a bike shop and thought it meant that a new era of value had begun. But they had obviously mis-priced it, because nobody sells it for less than $40 online.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This single device replaces a number of other devices for me: a travel battery with enough guts to charge a tablet at 2A while simultaneously charging a phone at 1A, a wired charger with the same dual charging capability, a wireless access point, and - the icing on the cake - a wireless bridge. It's that icing that drew me to the device - too many times I've been at a hotel where the purchased internet limits the number of connected devices. But it's great to be able to also leave behind my distinct battery pack and wired chargers. All I need now is this and a pair of USB cables.
Cons: None yet evident.READ FULL REVIEW
