This review is from: ARRIS SurfBoard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
Pros: It totally works, Dude! A quick call to my service provider and they set up the service and I returned their stupid $6.00 a month modem to them.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I thought about the newer model but as part of a package with the router too, wow, what a good deal. Newegg you rock.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast, Easy to configure, dual band, guest net work, great with printers.Currently providing service for a guest network, two androids, two desktops and two printers. No problem.
Cons: Large footprint. My old router sat on the window sill, but not this one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The video processor plays movies and videos and dual screen fantasticly. Does not heat up and is smooth and fast.
I can open 15 separate windows and the processor never slows down.
The 65 watt version is cool after adding a Rosewill Z100 cooler.
Handles light gaming and apps.
Cons: Only works in Windows. If you dual boot to a Linux system like Ubuntu or Mint the Drivers fail and the OS won't load. Booting in nomodeset and changing to AMD drivers works but the system fails to wake from sleep. A real hassle to reboot every time the system shuts down to save power.
Other Thoughts: I also have a A8-5500 and it works flawlessly on both Windows and Linux. Great chip. No wake up problems, video is perfect. Download Chrome from Google Store and install on Linux and boom Netflix works like a bandit, even Chrome cast.READ FULL REVIEW
