Pros: Well built, worked the first time I powered up. Even the thunderbolt works.
Cons: Only 1 USB 2.0 internal header.
Other Thoughts: Included DVD drivers actually helped for once. A few drivers were more current than posted on the support website. The easy bios update from USB worked like a charm.
UPDATE- Pulled out the old 5820 cpu and installed the new 6900 and achieved EZ OC of 4.6 GHz!
Best i could do was 4.1 with the old chip. It seems this board is really optimized for the 6900 series chips. Running extremely stable. I'm very pleased with the performance and stablility.
32MB G Skill 2400, Samsung 950 pro, three-Samsung 850 pro's 1TB and Asus Strixx 390X card and Corsair H100i V2 cooler.
Pros: I like the looks. the top carry handle is nice and the rubber guard around the top feels like quality. I will also say that the extras included in the case are great. a small pc speaker, small L bracket to mount an additional fan header, an 8 pin mobo power extension cable, an adapter nut driver to tighten down the MOBO standoffs. NICE!
The hot swappable Xdock sata drive bay is a nice touch in front. however, you need to install both power and data cable as this is not mentioned. I assumed it was part of the cluster harness.
Cons: documentation is very poor. it took some trial and error to identify each lead, connector and that they added an extra fan cable from the control board for a bottom fan if wanted.
Other Thoughts: They supplied lots of screws and misc hardware that i ended up using. Nice job cooler master. I returned a Corsair case for this one and i'm happy i did.
FYI the feet are really solid unlike the corsair cheapies.
The hidden bottom accessory tray has two screws in place for shipping FYI.
Pros: none that I can think of except for easy assembly.
Cons: Lights died after 18 months and unit died after 2 years. I thought It was the HDD at first.
Never able to get esata to work. bought another brand and I'm up and running.
