This review is from: ASUS P8B-C/4L ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1155 Intel C202 DDR3 1600/1333/1066
Pros: 4 Gigabit LAN ports. Bought this board for an Endian Firewall. Still waiting on a CPU to see how the board works (see Cons)
Cons: Doe not support core i5 CPUs. Not the boards fault that I didn't read. I am normally an AMD user, so I assumed same socket, no problem, but that is apparently not the case. Thought I'd post this here so somebody else doesn't make the same mistake.
Other Thoughts: At the time I was searching for this board I didn't find anything equivalent for an AMD CPU or I'd have bought that instead.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: IN WIN IW-RA100-00-S250 1.0mm SGCC 1U Rackmount Compact Server Chassis Single 250W
Pros: Very nice looking case. Well built, plenty of room.
Cons: No rear I/O Shields came with mine??? The PDF from the manufacturer makes it appear that it was supposed to come with a shield, but I can't fine it listed anywhere, and no standard shields I can find seem to fit.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The monitor has great color, great contrast when it works
Cons: It worked great the first day. The next day, it was working when I went to lunch, but when I came back the backlight was out. I swapped cables around unplugged, replugged, etc. Had given up and was sitting in my chair staring at the screen considering taking it down of the monitor arm when it just came back on on it's own. It worked fine for a whole week, then today I re-arranged cables which required me to disconnect the power. After plugging it back in, I have been unable to get the backlight to come back on. If I look closely at the screen with a flashlight I can see that it is still displaying, just no backlight. Also, unfortunately, I have already trashed the box it came in, so no RMA I guess.
Other Thoughts: The webcam has no built-in mic which is also a bit aggravating.READ FULL REVIEW
