This review is from: Antec Performance One Series P193 V3 Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: Antec has some great case designs. This one is my favorite. The slide-out drive bays at the bottom make installing/replacing drives quick and easy. There is ample room for cable paths. The cable access panels/holes are a nice touch too, especially the removable panel between the MOBO and power supply bay. I added two 120mm fans in front (they are optional) for additional hard drive cooling. This case handles a lot of air movement.
Cons: Not really a con, but this case is HEAVY, especially when drives, power supplies, etc. are added. I consider this a plus though as it keeps vibration and noise down. I mention this as a "con" only to warn others that might not want something so hefty.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast and quiet.
Cons: High price. But, that's what you get with supply and demand economics.
Other Thoughts: I bought eight similar WD drives a year ago. Half of them were bad. The dreaded clicking noise started almost instantly and they died within 24 hours after installation. I returned them to WD for warranty replacement. The replacements they sent me died a similar death within 24 hours. I ended up buying Seagate drives, which worked flawlessly. I swore I would never buy WD drives again. However, given the specifications of this drive, along with good reviews, I cautiously purchased these WD drives. This time, they worked perfectly right from the start. My faith is slowly being restored in WD's quality control.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LIAN LI PC-A05NB Black Aluminum ATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Pros: This is a great little case. It's very light (empty) and has a great finish to it. The rubber mounts for the hard drives are a nice touch and makes for an easy install. The fans are very quiet too. Most cases I have purchased in the past have you mount the MOBO with the CPU at the top of the case, this case actually has the MOBO turned 180-degrees, which makes the cable runs so much cleaner and puts the CPU more in the direct air-flow.
Other Thoughts: Since the power supply is fully mounted inside the case, don't forget to turn on the power switch before installing it. The case also comes with a tool for tightening the offset nuts that the MOBO sits on. Very handy!READ FULL REVIEW
