Pros: Incredible little beast and i was able to (not on this website) pick it up for a 100 bucks. i am running battlefield 4 on high no issues and am finally able to enjoy playing Planetside 2 on my Pc now. If your wondering will this card perform on another game essentially as it currently stands if it can run bf4 it can just about run everything (provided you have a decent processor id say amd fx series or higher or a intel i5 or higher).
Cons: the card measures in at about 7 inches by 2.5-3 inches so if you have a small case or dont have a 6 pin power connector then you most likely wont be able to use it. It also takes up two slots on the motherboard because its a bigger card but it only actually plugs into the Pcie-x16 slot and the 6 pin power connector.
Other Thoughts: Its a great bargain. If you know you can use this card then as it stands now id say its one of the if not the best performance for money card on the market as of posting this review 2/11/14.
The requirements to use this card are as follows:
1. one pcieX16 slot to plug the card into.
2. about 7 (8 to be safe) inches of horizontal space in your case.
3. about 3 inches the other way of space in your case .
4. One 6 pin power connector (mine came with a 4 pin converter)
5. minimum of a 450 watt power supply (could probably get away with 400 but 450 to be safe)
My computer specs:
fx 6100 6 core processor with 12gb of ddr3 ram a radeon hd 7770 1gb ddr5 and a 500 watt psu with 1250 gb of hard drive storage
With my specs i run all my games at a average of 60 fps in game in the heat of battle in battlefield 4 or the relaxation of putting a fire out on sims 3.
Cons: Here we go,
nearly useless for gaming and virtually impossible to play anything thats even semi new anything that is new has to be toned so far down to make the game playable its not even fun looking at the screen
Other Thoughts: Ok so if your looking to get into gaming i would strongly and i mean STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU PASS
the only reason i have this card to begin with was at the time i was on a extreme budget build and im planning on upgrading to a new better GPU in oh say 8 days 1 hour and 35 minutes but hey whos counting right????? seriously though if your building a gaming rig remember a huge part of it is in the gpu not the cpu an intel i3 is still capable of running games as long as you have a kick booty card in there i have a fantastic custom pc aside from this dated card so if your planning on gaming on anything past minecraft then keep looking.
Pros: Best pc for price tag,
my parents gave me a 500 dollarish price cap so i know this pcs shortcomings but i could not find a better pc that would be easy to upgrade in the future , and would be able to play most games on medium settings out of the box and a six core processor is always a nice feature when multitasking .
Cons: No integrated wifi card but easy fix just buy a external usb wifi adapter (you will get better signal that way anyway)
Graphics card could be better but will do the job for me for now and is easily upgradable
Other Thoughts: Cant wait for this to arrive in the next few days for me and i will do a updated review of the pc after i get it and put it through its paces.
Overall will be a huge upgrade from my old intel i3 dual core at 2.4 ghz.
If you have a 600 dollar limit or more id say move on but if your pressed for cash this is a great option this pc is a all in one package right from the get go and can easily be upgraded later if needed.
