Black USB Wireless Gaming Controller Receiver Adapter For PC Windows 7 Xbox 360
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: The price on this thing is misleading. It's not cheap at all. It works exactly like it's supposed to. Installing it is somewhat of a pain but I found that the generic microsoft receiver driver works for this instead of having to download a bunch of stuff. It will tell you its not recommended but it works regardless. I haven't had any problems with this yet.

Cons: Might be confusing for someone who doesn't know where to find the driver for this. Otherwise none.

Rosewill RNX-N180UBE, Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Adapter, IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, (2T2R) Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates, USB 2.0 Cradle, 5 dBi High Power Antenna

  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Don't be fooled by its price! Its not cheap by any means! It's one of the best adapters I've owned. If you're tired of trying and taking risks just buy this one and feel relief. It's only dropped the signal maybe twice since I installed it, otherwise it's been working like a charm. It comes with a nice base for better reception. Above all else its ready to go out of the box! ( Though there are more recent drivers which I recommend you install)

Cons: Very few, it over heats after a few hours but it still runs strong. when it dropped the signals I took it out of the base and plugged it into the usb port directly and it worked just fine. I'm guessing my base has a problem otherwise the actual product is great.

Other Thoughts: I would buy future products from the manufacturer again.

ASUS USB-N13 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: It's cheap but that's it.

Cons: This is the MOST fickle piece of hardware I have ever owned and I've owned. It decides when it wants to work and honestly that's very rare. If you're running windows 7 64bit or higher the disk isn't going to help you, you have to go online and find drivers that aren't even on the manufacturers website. The internet dongle my friend found on the floor outside office max is more stable and just as fast and is about 5 years older. Did I mention you have to connect to the internet to get this to work? You know as in what this is supposed to do for you. The one job it has. That job.Doesn't do it.

Other Thoughts: Would not buy from this company again. Products are very faulty and this is not my first purchase from them. They're only second to acer in poor quality hardware and second to EA in customer service and PR.
