Pros: LOTS of fans!
Looks pretty sweet in person
Tool-less 3.5 HDD installation
Tool-less ODD installation
2.5 SSD or HDD compatible (does require screws though)
Fans sound quiet to me my CPU fan is louder
Cons: No USB 3.0, not gonna take off an egg off though because of all the other features for the price.
The card reader only works with regular SD and I think MMC, but the card reader didn't really factor in to my purchasing decision.
I had to move my computer over a little because I kept accidentally hitting the reset button with my knee, but I actually like where my computer is now better.
Other Thoughts: Ordered this with a new egg gift card I got for my birthday and went with super egg saver shipping... IT CAME THE NEXT DAY!
I picked this case mainly for the price and the fact it had quite a few fans, the blue LEDs, and 2.5 inch drive compatibility. I thought it looked kinda cool in the pictures, but after seeing it in person I think it looks really sweet!
Also, it came with the necessary screws for installing 2.5 inch drives.
I wish the card reader worked with micro SD, but the card reader wasn't something I was really needing/wanting for my case, besides there's 3 external bays to put a card reader in if I really cared.
USB 3.0 would have been nice, so if I ever upgraded my MOBO I could have easy to access USB 3.0, but as it is I don't have have an internal USB 3.0 connector. Also, I don't even have any USB 3.0 devices, so it really would have been wasted and pointless, at least for me... But it still would have been a plus...
As others have said the top fan makes it kinda cramped when installing the MOBO but I was able to get everything in without having to remove it.
After getting everything up and going I was making sure all the fans were working and the front fan was NOT. It took me like 20min but I finally realized the power connector for the front fan was hidden in the HDD bays so it was just an oversight but if anyone else has a similar issue check the HDD bays and make sure you haven't missed the power connector.
Getting the fans working with the fan control was a little confusing, as the "manual" they send with the case is pretty much useless. But if I remember right you have to plug any fans you want to be able to control with the front dial into each other and then into the plug on the case labeled "FAN1" Another note is that the fan control will also dim the blue LEDs of any fans you have plugged into it when you turn it down (whether that's good or bad probably depends on personal opinion).
All in all I don't think you can get a better case for the price!
Pros: Great for the price!
Playing games on high and maxed!
Payed for mostly by gift card
On sale + mail in rebate at time of purchase
Cons: Not really a con... see other thoughts...
Other Thoughts: Got this card to replace Diamond AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 that was having problems playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. When I first put this card in my computer there was no display on POST just a black screen. I figured it was my power supply that was off brand 400W and AMD's website said that this card required a PSU of 500W or greater. So I found a good deal on a Cooler Master 650W PSU and switched out my PSU. Put this card in... Same problem, black screen no POST. Through a little bit of research on Google, I decided to update my BIOS (Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V). After that, no problems. Card works FANTASTIC! I average about 55fps on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on max settings! My CPU is only a Pentium G860 as well.
Other games run great too! Far Cry 3 on high. Skyrim is maxed with HD texture packs. Borderlands 2 is maxed or close.
All in all amazing card for the price! Also I'm a huge fan of Gigabyte!
