Pros: Immensely more usable than many mice in most everyday application. Very customizable. Non-slip grip surface. Weights. Free fly wheel.
Top of the line mouse and affordable for casual or precision work use.
Cons: The thumb buttons.
I aggressively tried this mouse out and couldn't help but immediately notice the sizing and position of the thumb buttons.
Its a nice design but during tense moments, I couldn't shake off needing to consciously think about clicking a button. Its incredibly easy to hit 2 of the 3 buttons at the same time. One has to make an effort not to when needing to quickly punch a button.
There is also a slight angle at which the longer 2 thumb buttons depress, so they don't always depress with a quick jab at any location. You have to press towards the side the buttons lean into the mouse.
Other Thoughts: I tried to get used to the thumb buttons after hours of play but could never find a native nor an easy fee for them. When you need quick access key binds, this mouse doesn't live up to what other mice offer.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech MX 518 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1800 dpi Gaming Mouse
Pros: Its light, has replaceable feet, durable grip withstands cleaners (windex).
Its not clunky like predecessors and moves great. Especially with some and still maintains the great logitech shape from mice I have used 6 years ago.
Compared to the G500 - its scroll wheel moves freely - big turn off when you use the wheel alot. The thumnb buttons are not separate or uniform size. Its easy to mix them up, expecially during gaming. For everyday use - well do you need to pay extra to have 1 more button you can just macro into another button?
Cons: Not laser, but do you really need that?
(perhaps if you're a cad user)
Other Thoughts: It has a cord BUT I have used wireless models in the past and they served me well. However you eventually:
1. Frantically changing batteries when it dies and you're gaming.
2. The original dock doesn't charge anymore and becomes a clunk that only works as a receiver reception. this means you've started using a separate charger.
3. It is very easy to just slide away the wires - that cannot be a reason you don't want to use a mouse that sits on a desk.
This review is from: Symantec NORTON 360 Version 4.0 1User/3PC
Pros: It works...
Cons: Costs money
Other Thoughts: Although Norton works, it does so minimally. It was a personal choice it in the PAST over mcafee. Now days, it is no longer a necessity. There are many free anti-virus programs out there better than Norton. The product works to an extent that it has an average detection system bloated with software. Its cpu usage is too high. It costs money.
Thanks for making the program Norton and I pity your customers who still buy this genre of software.
