5 out of 5 eggs High performance card with controversy! 05/15/2015

This review is from: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-2974-KR 4GB SC GAMING w/ACX 2.0, Silent Cooling Graphics Card

Pros: Less coil whine than my Geforce 760 SC
Installed no problems, hardware or software.
EVGA makes a quality GPU, I have had their cards for years.

Cons: This card has lots of controversy due to its memory architechture but I haven't hardly noticed a difference.

Other Thoughts: I replaced a Geforce 760 with this card and I noticed higher performance in the Heaven benchmark.

ARRIS SurfBoard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

5 out of 5 eggs Does what it says on the label 10/04/2014

This review is from: ARRIS SurfBoard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

Pros: Easy setup
No need to call Xfinity/Comcast to activate
Works with my internet tier (50mbps)

Cons: Plastic film on the front is near impossible to completely remove. Box was not sealed shut.

Other Thoughts: I got this to replace the substandard Arris/Technicolor residential gateways Comcast provides with a rental fee.
I had problems with their devices, so I purchased this and a Netgear R7000 router. Speeds upstairs went from 10 to 50Mbps and range has improved.
