Pros: -Fanless (Silent, assuming you use a SSD)
-Installed OpenELEC w/o any issues
-*Bundled remote worked right out of the box (under OpenELEC)
-*Bundled SSD works!
-Drivers are supplied on a 4GB USB Drive
-Integrated WiFi, Intel 2200BNHMW (antenna internal 2x2, single band)
-Open Mini-PCIe port
*Promotional Bundle deal
Cons: -Runs warm (not really a surprise)
-Entering BIOS was a bit tricky on the first go around (had to spam DEL as the first few boots there was no splash screen signalling that it was actually booting)
-Internal WiFi antenna ("may" limit range/strength of signal)
Other Thoughts: I wish it had a built in IR Receiver, has what would appear to have a window for the possibility, but the motherboard speaker sits behind it.
Almost thought for some reason it didn't have built in WiFi capabilities till I realized there is no external antenna and I was picking up my WiFi network.
-Will be used as a XBMC Front End device
This review is from: LIAN LI PC-Q25B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case
Pros: Lots of room for HDDs (5 Hot-Swap capable)
Easy panel removal
No 5.25" Drive Bay (I wanted a clean minimalist look)
Can accommodate a full size (2 slot) video card if need be
Cons: Advisable to install the shortest depth PSU (ATX standard) or you might have some added difficulty manipulating the power cables.
No 5.25" Drive Bay (Pro for me, but might be a Con for others)
No Front USB or Audio ports
Retail CPU HSF fits fine below the PSU, but your space is limited.
Other Thoughts: Working great as a small server case.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P8H77-I LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Love the UEFI BIOS
6 SATA headers (2 SATA III / 4 SATA II)
Worked like a champ on first boot.
No issues reading/booting from a multitude of USB Flash drives (Mushkin to generic).
Cons: Connecting pin headers to the board can be difficult, as everything is tightly packed together.
Not too thrilled that the second fan header is a 4 pin instead of a 3 pin, just happens to be my luck.
Other Thoughts: Using this for a NAS/HTPC setup. Installing drivers for WHS 2011 can be a bit troublesome.
Runs XBMC beautifully.
Intel i5-3570K (mostly for the HD4000 graphics)
60GB SSD (OS)
