Pros: Works as advertised. Good price.
Cons: I opened up my case recently to add a PCI-e card, and noticed that the heat spreaders on the RAM were not of even height. I took them out and examined the RAM sticks to find that the heat spreaders are slowly sliding off of the RAM sticks. All of them are like that. I've only had them for 3 months, and at the rate that the spreaders are moving it looks like they'll fall off completely in a year, but it's probably only a matter of time before they short out the RAM or my motherboard when they slide of further.
Other Thoughts: I do not recommend it, unless they can fix the shoddy quality of their adhesive.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Lightning fast, super quiet.
Cons: Randomly started breaking the partition, and then 2 days later it wouldn't show up any longer even in the BIOS- totally dead.
Other Thoughts: It worked fantastic when it did work- and died without any notice what so ever other than breaking the partition (and needing to install Windows 7 + reformat) twice.
Pros: For those who have never used a SSD- they are amazingly fast, totally silent, and low power consumption.
Cons: Expensive- but worth it. Wish I had another.
Other Thoughts: I have it set up as my boot drive- and it loads Win 7 x64 in 20-30 seconds, and awakens from sleep mode in 2 seconds (!).
If the cost weren't so high, I would use nothing but SSD's. I wish I had another to use as a Photoshop scratch drive.
