Pros: powerfull monster of a power supply. runs 1 hd4870x2 with no issues ...

Cons: runs 1 hd4870x2 with no issues ... until you plug in the second card. pulling too much amps or something. tried maybe the voltages on different connectors thinking you could match up with a different rail but no go. those ati cards are power hunrgy. so for 2 of those, this will not work. read about people thinking this can do tri sli with 280 gtx ... i don't know, since it can't handle 2 hd4870x2's.

Overall Review: i really liked how you look at ati's site and requirements just say 1k + power supply. no info on amprage for rails and what not is needed. they have you thinking that any card will work if it is 1k and up and has the connectors. look at the certified xfire list ( i did too late), and they have quite a few supplies that are 1k and better, and most of those don't run two. i am running them both with the antec 1000 quatro tru power. so be sure to look at the certified list of ps's to get what you want with 2 cards.
